Before the Wedding...
A few months in advance of your wedding day we meet at your wedding venue, where we will spend ample time discussing your photographic requirements and tastes, exploring the surroundings, and taking plenty of portraits of you both together and individually. It’s a perfect opportunity for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and most couples find the experience invaluable when the big day arrives. We will find the poses and locations that suit you both, and I will share hints and tips to make you feel relaxed and look even more marvellous! Please see my engagement shoot portfolio.
A weekday engagement photoshoot is included as standard in all Wedding Collections from The Moment Images. One 10x8 inch print is included as a memento of your engagement, and additional prints and products may be ordered. Many couples use their engagement print for their wedding day signing-board, which I am happy to organise.
As a standalone, an engagement shoot costs from £50.
Wedding Day Coverage
Coverage of the day usually begins in the morning as you prepare for the ceremony - capturing your excitement as the last touches of makeup are applied and the final buttons done up - and ends with the first dance as you sweep into your new life together. I work respectfully and amicably with you and your guests throughout the day to capture a mix of candid images (heartfelt hugs, stolen kisses, wedding-speech tears of laughter) and classic family heirloom shots.
Guests and clients often remark on my natural ability to help people relax in front of the camera, and value the fuss-free way that I manage the group photographs. This results in relaxed, natural images that will stand the test of time. We explore the venue for your first-ever photos together as a married couple, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some quiet time with your new spouse. I make sure to capture all the little touches that make the day your own so that you have a complete record of your celebration to enjoy for the many following years.
Your Wedding Album
Your wedding album is the story of your day and a record to cherish in the years to come.
I work closely with couples to create elegantly designed albums, filled with their favourite images in arty black and white and glorious colour. My suppliers are carefully chosen for the quality of their traditional and magazine style books, ensuring that your beautifully printed memories will stand the test of time.
Parents' albums are also available, either as miniature versions of your own or as custom-designed books. I can also help with other products, from thank-you cards to wall art.

2 photographers who will photograph your day from the preparations through to the first dance
A pre-wedding photographic consultation (usually at your venue), where we will discuss and plan your photographs
A weekday engagement photoshoot, to include a 10x8 print
A post-honeymoon viewing session and a slideshow of images
Your fully edited images, presented on a USB
A secure and private online gallery for viewing and ordering your wedding memories
Digital-only Collections start from £1300 and Album Collections from £1500.
